In 2023, we were proud to put our own team back on the track for the first time in over a decade.
After more than 30 years producing bespoke British racing leathers, Dannisport returned to competitive racing — not just as a supplier in the paddock, but as a championship-contending team.
Competing within the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC) and the Forgotten Racing Championship (FRC), we campaign true classic race machinery across multiple classes — including the ever-competitive Supersport 600 class and the screaming 350 yamaha tzs!!
And yes - the classics can still compete and still send a shiver down the spine .

Our return wasn’t a quiet rebuild. In our first full seasons back on track, Dannisport secured two championship titles in 2023 and 2024, alongside multiple podium finishes across the UK.
From tight technical circuits to high-speed layouts, the team has delivered consistent results across classic two-stroke grids and Supersport classes alike. The message was clear from the outset: experience matters, and heritage still wins races.
We are now preparing to compete again in 2026 — with the same determination and race-proven craftsmanship behind us.
RACING THE MOST ICONIC M OF THE GOLDEN ERA OF RACING.
Our line-up includes Yamaha TZ350Gmodels from the 1970s and 1979, the 1989 Honda RS250, the formidable 1982 Suzuki RGB500, and the 1995 Honda Supersport 600.
These bikes represent the golden eras of British and Grand Prix circuit racing. They demand precision, commitment and proper race equipment — and they continue to prove that well-prepared classics are still capable of winning championships today.
Our bikes are built by the 2 stroke legend Lea Gourlay who has a reputation for building the fastest 2 stroke engines on the grid.
We compete at race meetings across the UK’s leading circuits, including Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Mallory Park, Snetterton Circuit and Silverstone Circuit.
These are the circuits where our leathers are tested properly — under genuine race conditions, against serious competition, lap after lap. When we say race-proven, we mean proven on Britain’s most respected tracks.
